I just spend the last 45 mins. trying to find the original poster to thank. I really enjoyed this album. Track 8, Blues in the Night, great 1960’s, 70’s soul feel. Isaac Hayes was involved with most of tracks, composition.
Please someone recommend their favorite Isaac album, got to have more soul.

Was going to see Dave Sunday night, and it was cancelled due to illness a few hours before. Hope he’s…well, you know…

Dude - try listening to that with ALL of that conversion off (just shut off DSP in Roon), and see what you think ; )

@badbeef - OK, will due and let you know… have done that before… ends up being a compromise across all albums on the auto-leveling. I don’t like it ON and then I hit an album I wish it was ON. My Nucleus+ has the processor at 15X [(1/15) %] on the signal path so it will not be about processing. As indicated, I’m listening to the Focal Utopia head phones and crossfeed DSP is a must as opposed to OFF. Will go one step further and listen turning all DSP OFF using speakers on this album. I will then look at all DSP ON including cross feed and then all DSP OFF except the cross feed on the head phones.

Going out to breakfast with sweetie (LA road trip the next few days); so, it will be a while before I will give feedback.

I have many Tony Joe White albums - both vinyl and CD. This 1972 recording is a particular favourite!

Great value double CD - 4 classic Lou Donaldson albums including Blues Walk. (Photos spoiled by flash glare)
