Sorry for saying it again, but sometimes the groove has to come first.

Another fine suggestion I’ve never heard of. I’ve said it here before, music is infinity…
Herbie Hancock “V.S.O.P. – Five Stars” (from the Complete Columbia Albums box set)
It’s early in the morning hear (b4 sunrise) so it’s Spotify and Bluetooth headphones (b&w PX) so not to wake my wife.
Once again The Doors - Waiting for the sun 50th anniversary edition.
Listened earlier today in 24/92 on Qobuz, best sounding version i ever heard, Now listened again on Tidal/MQA after i found this on the www;
” When the Doors recorded Waiting For The Sun in 1968, they were among the first bands to use Dolby A301 noise reduction processors, which was cutting-edge recording tech at the time. Similarly, the most advanced sound recording innovations were used to make the anniversary edition of Waiting For The Sun. The new release has been encoded with the MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) process. An MQA disc plays back on all CD players as standard CD quality…”
Hate to admit () but…slightly prefer the MQA 24/192 (!) on this one…
Round and Round is one of my favorites of all time. Sounds like 50s.

I like offensive album art if it is not sophomoric and draws legitimate emotions. What’s art if it’s not that. I would rather that someone look at something I painted and say “I effing hate it” than to say nothing at all. With that said, I try to stay away from creating something for the purpose to offend. But if it offend so be it.

I saw this posted here, bought it because I liked the cover. She’s pretty, with a beautiful tone but clearly sad. The music fits the cover well. I listened to this for the first time on my desktop speakers, didnt work. Awesome on the big rig. Very different music for me!
@tabascocat1994 …always good to see your posts here! Hope life is good!
All I can say is Uh Huh…
I just read on Wikipedia that Terry Callier was from Chicago and lived in Cabrini Green. Being the Chicagophile that I am, it makes this record even more interesting to me. Cabrini Green was a notorious housing project minutes from the richest section of Chicago. A microcosm in contrast for much of America. As an outsider, he doesn’t sound, to me, like he’s from Cabrini Green. I love it!
