Since I updated to the latest FPGA 198 on MK2, I have heard improvement. It appears I am the only one who has heard improvement, then there must be other factors that govern the SQ change. So this is what I changed to my isolation tweaks:
- add Sorbothane sheet to plug and cable support for the streamer
- Change the metal plug to Carbon Fiber/Sorbso support under plug at PST.
- Replaced XPad to metal disc (temp. since I order some stainless steel pad that looks a lot better) for the rack.

These changes made the sound more focused and neutral. The rack discs do not look good but may contribute to the most improvement.

This is going to sell like mad. It’s not for me, but I can see the appeal. It’s super smart to base Roon as the music server vs making one. The Grimm MU1 though more expensive is another example.
Also another nice piece of gear coming out of Poland.
I have a full set of Fractal interconnects and speaker cables. I actually think the speaker cables are more impactful. I’m fortunate that I could keep mine to 1.2 metres to keep the cost down! But I love them. Bass just went so much lower with better texture and zero bloat.
This is super interesting to me. After reading I took out my QSA Violet from my Innuos streamer and popped the stock fuse in. Awful. Grey and blurred. Violet straight back in.

Great encouraging news! I am planning to get them (F1 speaker cables) sometime in July. I would need a pair of 2 to 2.5 meters for my single wired speakers.

It’s the super cheap recycled copper-ish wall wort cable. It is supposed to add to the “soundstage”. Whatever that means.
