My audiophile journey started in December 2017 after my home theater receiver blew up. I stopped at a local, higher end store to see if they could repair it, and after being told no, decided to not waste the trip there and listen to some speakers they had setup. For four hours, I sat there listening to the highest end speakers I had ever heard at the time. I ended up buying them that day. Thousands, and thousands, and thousands of dollars later, I wonder if taking up a nasty coke habit would have been cheaper for me in the long run. Damn me, for loving music so much.

All kidding aside, I have followed this forum for some time, but only recently started participating in it. Paul’s videos have been so instrumental in teaching me more about music, what to listen for, and helping me to eek out the best sound from what I have. And the people in the forum here have been great!
