I’m an Italian American living in Tuscany Italy. I’m 45 now but I’ve been an Audiophile from the early age of 13, when I first went into an audio shop in the Altamonte Mall in Florida with my dad. He was looking for a front end. We looked and looked and looked and it was an amazing experience. I can remember the salesman explaining the separation of instruments and soundstage and he even discussed timbre and tonality. These were my first lessons. As an audiophile I am still learning and have so enjoyed the journey. It’s always been about the music although many times in the past and currently it has also been about the equipment. Only recently (last few years) gotten into PS Audio, and have fallen in love. I am more into tonality and musicality than I am into detail retrieval and transparency. The DSD dac spoke to me in an analog language that I’ve never before heard in a digital world so I was hooked at first listen. I’m big into Vinyl as well as I have many LP’s and listen through my Allnic phono stage. My speakers are Sonus Faber Extrema Circa 1991 and I use McIntosh for amplification.
