I began my journey buying Allied and Tandy hardware off the discount rack around 1970. I was fortunate to work with (I’m not a musician I’m a technician) many “road rats” from the big band era. I learned to “listen” from the player’s point of view if that makes sense. I have built my own speakers, though only a few pairs, led me to respect the masters.
