I’m back to the 2 channel setup after a long time expedition to home theater land. My beginnings were with a Sony boombox around 35 years ago and traversed all the way to individual professional audio power amplifiers running up to 7.1 channels at around 700 watts per channel. Mixed pro and consumer audio components and electronics before it was even a thing. I now look for simplicity and purity in the audio chain.
