Longtime and very part-time audiophile who appreciates the hobby but is happy with dabbling and absorbing as much as I can from the experts. Been at this since 1975 when I (or my parents) bought me a Pioneer SX 1010 (loved those 100 watts) and a pair of MicroAcoustic FRM 1 speakers (burnt orange grills) that a guy at a stereo stored in Youngstown Ohio sold me on (they actually sounded pretty good till I blew out the woofer on one of them).
