Currently retired after an interesting career as a software developer first and subsequently a CTO for a security sw startup. I live in Reston Virginia, but grew up in Potomac Maryland and before that Long Branch NJ. …Before that, I was born in Austria (my parents moved to the US when I was 1). I have travelled extensively, and know the US, Europe, parts of Asia and Australia fairly well. I am extremely fond of delicious red wines that are BIG. I love dogs, am fond of cats and have numerous interests including woodworking, thinking critically, and enjoying fine food (cooking and eating). Around 2015 I was suddenly reengaged in audio when I purchased my first tube-based amp (Rogue “Cronus Magnum”). I could not believe what I heard. From that day forward, I have replaced cables, made custom power cords, enjoyed the benefits of PS Audio PowerPlants, and repeatedly upgraded my gear. I listen to music on a daily basis as I develop software in my retirement. I am looking forward to releasing my first app on Apple’s iOS platforms really soon now …while I am fleshing out my ideas for my second and third apps…
