I completely agree.
Don’t understand the hate towards Tidal. I subscribe to both Qobuz and Tidal. The MQA thing is 99.5% gone at Tidal. It works just like Qobuz without the ability to purchase music files. Both companies are great and I like having access to both. More choice is more better.
I fully agree.
What choices do you have on Tidal vs Qobuz? I dont dislike Tidal, just figured why have both. I already have three services if you count Spotify (family and background ) and Sirius (car) + Qobuz.
Please dont tell me I need another!

Nothing like need. I’m a disorganized streamer, so I can’t say what service has what. Lots of overlap of-course but there are enough differences and the cost, to me, is trivial. Plus, I want both to survive; therefore, I support both.
I’ve just always preferred Apple Music and Tidal over all the other services. They are the only ones I currently have.
I think it is crucial to support both Qobuz and Tidal. I prefer Qobuz but Tidal, at $11.99 per month deserves support. If either service went under the loss would be severe.
I make a point to not support Amazon out of fear they may someday be the last source standing. Amazon is big enough. And Spotify needs to be put down. Awful company. Bah. They are ripping off the artists and the customers. Never Never Never.
Every day, thru sheer dumb luck, I get Qobuz to play music for me. I use the search function, find music, it plays it for me. Why would I want a different service and what would it do for me?
There aren’t enough hours in the day to listen to more than what Qobuz and Radio Paradise offer. I subscribe to Qobuz because of a livestream event Audioholics hosted a couple of years ago where the only thing I remember is a consensus that Qobuz was more fair to the artists than others.
Qobuz is perfectly fine. Why clutter things up with multiple services. Each is large enough with adequate funds that my paltry $12/month is insignificant to any of them. Got to agree with the notion that supporting Amazon and Spotify just seems wrong.
Qobuz, Spotify family and Sirius (car) is plenty for me.
Serious is apparently some what desperate.
The service came with my last couple of cars. I have never turned it on. They keep calling me.
They are probably more aggressive then desperate. But it works well in cars. …
Just threaten to cancel every year and its like 75 bucks…
It may work fine. I’m simply not interested.
They do seem to be persistent. These days I have Qobuz streaming or two SD memory cards in play. I tried the Sirius offering as part of my Audi trial, and never could find anything I liked. Can’t say I was all that surprised considering my musical taste.
That sounds serious
Well, the MU2 needs roon in order to work, and the roon interface is a nicer interface than the qobuz interface. Roon is a music organizer but not a music source, so with the MU2 one needs 2 subscriptions for streaming to work (one to roon and another to either qobuz or tidal or both)
Yep. Sirius is in My Audi. Classic rock, Vinyl and E street. There is enough rock and jazz to help the car ride. BO stereo helps too
Sirius is great for traveling. Something for everyone’s taste. Plus I follow a baseball team from far away and can listen to all of their games.
I do not listen to music while driving or when on a motorcycle. Thus, no interest.
