All of my “precision” bubble levels have been replaced by ball bearings.
What I once thought was level for my turntable was hardly level according to my balls.
Remove the platter mat and give a ball bearing a try.

Oh my. Going to be spending all my listening time attempting to keep a ball bearing stationary on my TT platter, my TT being a fully suspended SOTA. Not a bad idea, mind you. But think I’ll stick with my bubble level with its tolerance line for the sake of my sanity. ![]()
shhhhhh—the best balls come out of unused Campagnolo bottom brackets. Keep it to yourself.
