BHK Amplifier Longevity

When I moved to the high humidity regions of the east coast I was very grateful to have badge access to the labs at my customer sites. Spent plenty of time in front of the Liebert units just to “dry-off”. :stuck_out_tongue:

@ipeverywhere - I left the East Coast a long time ago. I barely go back for visits unless it’s April/May or Sept/Oct. The rest of the time it’s unbearable. the Pacific NW has spoiled me in so many ways.

I’ve cooled my 250 enough that it didn’t sound as good. I have two fans, very slow moving fans ~6dB I believe, they can’t be heard just to move some air. While pointed directly at the heatsinks the sound was a bit closed in…

I still use the fans but not pointed directly at the sinks. They circulate air still and keep the temp ~100F within the cabinet. They are needed more in the summer of course.
