That is a welcome news about the pairing with M1200. I do actually own them, bought them new a couple of years ago at a 25% discount from PSA. A great deal.
P.S., I just put the order in for the BHK Preamp. Can’t wait to try them, brother!

I am excited for you! Awesome that you got the M1200’s at a discount. I had my speaker placement dialed in with my M700’s, but found that I had to reposition my speakers further apart and reduce tow-in with the M1200’s - go figure.
Yes, I own a Pass Labs XP-30, a good unit but no “physiology” adjustments. I bought a T+A P3100HV and is is a delight to use and allows you to fit your speakers to the room, and also how you actually hear music…we aren’t all the same. I’m not a straight wire with gain guy, never have been. If doing nothing to the source isn’t enjoyable, I’ll adjust the sound so that it is. You ears, speakers and room determine more what music sounds like, not the pre amp. Especially in rooms that aren’t symmetrical. Sure, we want low distortion and all that, but most rooms require that speakers and ears need something more. I do hear you on the budget, the T+A P3100 HV is a really solid unit but it isn’t cheap to provide all it can do with superb sound quality.
Best, Galen
