Thanks for your input. The Bridge 2 is a big issue for me. A perfected one would make my system perform as it should.
Who does the beta testing? Is it a group of PS Audio employees, or select PS Audio equipment owners?

The beta group involves PS Audio people, and a group of people on the forum here who have a history of working hard and contributing.
It sounds glamorous, but it is actually a tough tedious job.
As a matter of note on Bridge 2 sound quality.
I am finding that tweaks I did in the past that had marginal improvements are now providing incredible improvements.
Case in point, about a year ago I tried Still Points under the PWDAC MK11, to my ears the Ultra minis provided notable improvements but when I tries the Ultras it did not seem to make much difference. The other day for fun I tried the Ultras in place of the the mini and holy cow batman it was very tangible the depth and breath of the Sound Stage plus the realism of the music moved up anther notch.
It is like the additional detail that the Bridge 2 is providing is allowing other improvements to be amplified.
Looks like I will be in market for some more Still Point Ultras ( they are not cheap but dam they can make a huge difference in the right circumstances).

The Bridge II will play gapless. This is one of the primary design goals. I am impressed by the amount of work that Dennis K is doing on the BII. Although I do not understand any of the interworking of the BII code it is apparent that with each functional tweak there is the “opportunity” to destroy another area of it that was working well before the tweak. Work is progressing and I am listening to gapless right now!
Thanks all for the update. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. Hope it doesn’t cost me a small fortune.
In audiophile terms, cheap; average consumer, astoundingly expensive.
Breathtakingly affordable! I feel like PS Audio will lift the final veil of inaffordability making all that was previously thought about audiophile pricing obsolete!! 6.27 of 6.3 stars on the Golden Credit Balance List.
Thanks for the updates.
What resolution files are you testing? I’d be curious if anyone tried the 192/24 flac and how it works.
As for affordability, that Intel NUC I got from JRiver works really sweet. It comes out of the box all set up with the software installed and ready to go. It was $315.00 delivered to my door. In my area (Denver) that wouldn’t come close to covering the sales tax on a new DSD DAC.
Anyone who can afford a PS Audio DAC should consider that cheap.
Yes, 192/24 is being tested.
