He was talking about converting his 2" master tapes to DSD files. More convenience for playback.
There’s the C wave technology that adds reverb to the signal and the Mighty Cat software that can be used to taylor the response of your speakers and be used as crossover, if I’m understanding Mark correctly.
I’d still very much like to audition his Maria 350 amp, pre, DAC some day. I like the whole idea of simplifying the system.
