The difference may be whether you are currently signed in and if it is a windows or ios machine. And maybe if it is Firefox or other browser is used. I use a windows machine with Firefox and “play” works but “open” takes me to a “sign up for the service” page that I cant escape from or sign in to.
Link only works for me on iOS with the firefox browser. Else I get your error.
Might some of the pain in converting for USA use. I really do like the service and library they have.
Concur. Still happier than the Tidal streams.
For me there was enough difference in the total experience to let Tidal go and I don’t miss it at all.
I do still watch some Tidal music videos and find some music only available there. Quality better than vevo or youtube for videos.
Ahh. No music videos for me. I never have enjoyed watching them.

I remember when MTV started but we didn’t have cable TV. I remember watching a few videos at bars and bowling alleys but just never got interested in the video to go along with the audio.
My wife is from Shanghai before then moving to PRC in America. The People’s Republic of Cambridge MA. George Michael and John Denver were her first exposure to American Artists in China. . there are some live concert songs she still enjoys streamed too and she tires of staring at blank space or Roon Lyrics.
It’s cool that there are 7 odd billion humans on the planet and every single persons life experience is different and unique.

Yes American Music exposure in China speared her on in learning English and seeking new life experiences. Music is a universal language brings all together. I can appreciate Yo-Yo’s Silk Road Ensemble jam sessions for its diversity in bringing unique artist and instruments together.
A neat observation and amazingly true.
This one’s a work in progress. I intend to keep adding to it as I find things I like, so check back occasionally. No audiophile aspirations for this list - it’s just music that appeals to me, in a wide variety of non-classical genres. Nothing that challenges you to listen (no Thurston Moore
