Smaller Wilsons were also used in the Charlin cable demo room. Sabrinas? Yvettes?

I wonder what is happening on the dark side of the moon right about now. Is dust levitating or is it pretty quiet? It is probably being hit by a few meteorites off an on.

I just read Paul’s daily email and thought you might like it, Jack @dawkinsj:

We love to judge

One of the readers of this daily post, Bernard, suggested I remind us of some famous words from Linn founder, Ivor Tiefenbrunn.

“If you haven’t heard it, you don’t have an opinion.”

Another Wilson room, with Sashas, or are those Alexias ?

Not Sasha’s. Sasha’s have 2 piece construction.

This speaker brand is from Eastern Europe. Probably unknown and unavailable in the US:

Estelon is readily available in the States

I like them as they are funny looking.

Actually they review as being very similar to my ice cream cones.

A meandering thread is like unto my fabled mountain country road with
all manner of views, panoramas, vistas with wonderful reading for the most part.

Even Elk tends to enjoy such…

So speed racer…about that ice cream cone…make mine chocolate will ya?

Best wishes gang…

Oxbow lake, pretty cool. I can’t imagine how I remember that from school 20 years ago. It was interesting to see physics and geology at work in creating that.

I’ve been really busy with work lately and haven’t been able to listen as much as I would like. I did spend a couple hours last Saturday night. One interesting thing I noticed was that the May doesn’t appear to be as influenced by USB cables as the DSD was. Anyone else notice this or are the rest of you hearing very large differences with USB cables using the May.

Hi @goblue , I have tried different hdmi cables from Matrix to May, and I can say that in my setup, the hdmi cable matters less than with the DS. That’s why I kept my RAL and returned the AQ Dragon.

I haven’t experimented with the USB from my Lumin U1 to the Matrix. I tried lots of them when I had the DS and picked the obscenely expensive ChordMusic, which was better than the Shunyata Omega in my system.

It could well be that the quality of the usb cable matters less with the May, and that I wasted a lot of money on the ChordMusic
I am not going to try a cheaper usb because I am very afraid of the results …
I don’t want to know …
Ignorance is bliss is this case :innocent:

It might be hard to beat the Inakustik USB from SMG without spending the obscene money. I haven’t been inclined to find out.

I’ve heard the Estelons here in the U.S. I had a very nice impression of them.
