Not my experience, I bought the Spring V2 KTE when it first came out and Tim was prompt and helpful both in my decision making and setup advice. He also advised me not to get a Cyan for my second system. Obviously YMMV.
I also had a very positive experience with Tim when I purchased a Kitsune KTE SU-2 from him. Great emails and fast shipping.
Maybe measure both ways??
