Does the I2S cable have the same sort of reflection problems associated with digital coax? The latter is recommended at 1.5 meters or better to mitigate. Same for the HDMI?
Shorter is better with HDMI I think. Not much info on how i2s degrades over distance, but should be no issue under 2m.
