In response to member inquiry, Mr. McGowan talked about an upcoming PS Audio Music Server aka Octave. That was 2016. There have been posts since then, but it is now mid-2019 and I have not seen a prototype. On the other hand, development of PS Audio’s upcoming speakers seems to be progressing quite quickly. At least from an outsider’s perspective.
Has PS Audio cancelled the Octave project? Is Octave delayed? If not, why is the development process taking so long?
Lastly, specifically regarding the hardware. If Octave is still a go, what will separate Octave from Roon Labs’ shockingly expensive Nucleus and Nucleus Plus?
