I love the look of Accuphase. My father had a power amp back in the late 70’s.The model was a 260. That I recall because 260 was also the gas I put in my car back them. I remember he was over the moon with it.

Regarding Accuphase integrated amplifiers the E-800 hit the spot for me. In comparison the class AB offerings had a bit of grain.
Those Sunoco dial your octane pumps were pretty cool

It is taking me a while to get used to the digital meters as opposed to the classic analog meters
Aside from that, classic Accuphase, gorgeous (to me anyway) killer build and well, the sound is right in my wheelhouse
Now, back to the regularly scheduled Eclipse programming, which is all people in Buffalo are talking about at the moment

I’m really enjoying it so far. I do prefer the overall sound with my preamp in the chain, using the E-800 purely as an amp
The preamp section in the Accuphase is a good one, guess I just need tubes in there somewhere
