Yep. How does TIDAL continue charging ~45% more for high resolution than Amazon, Apple, Qobuz and others?
I’ve been back on TIDAL for a while (Hi-Fi Plus) because I prefer the app designs over Qobuz.

Had Tidal for a while, ran into problems with the app where it would not play for better than a month following a FW upgrade. The upgrade was buggy according to Tidal rep. Moved to Qobuz with their Axpona special, been happy with Qobuz so far.
Qobuz announced a DSD64 offering in early 2016, when there was some interest in DSD and people were buying DSD DACs to try out DSD downloads. The launch date was set for October 2016. It never happened and they never said why.
I suspect it was because DSD labels are so small and specialist, and it’s such a niche format, that there is far more money in DSD downloads than streaming, so they probably couldn’t get any content. PS Audio would never stream Octave stuff if they can get $30 per download.
I always thought MQA was a scam. Shame on all of the Manufacturers that felt that they had to have MQA support to sell their product and then pass on the cost to the consumer. Respect to manufacturers like Linn who refused to offer MQA and cited their reasons. The only unfolding that happens with MQA is the consumers wallet.
