I just received my Matrix X-SPDIF-3 today as a replacement for my X-SPDIF-1. Like the 1, the 3 will sit between my Innous Zenith MK2 streamer and DirectStream DAC MK2. I’m using i2S. Inserting the 1 into my system was pretty much plug and play.

The 3 has a configuration panel used to set the IIS Type, MCLK mode, and DoP to Native DSD mode.

Anyone know how to determine the IIS Type for the DirectStream DAC MK2?

I purchased the same model about 6 months ago. At that time I researched the dip switch settings for MK2 are all off. I don’t remember the source of the info. It’s been working very well for me and DSD plays properly as shown in Roon and on the MK2 display (DSD). Please share if you do find a different setting is called for when using i2S into MK2.
