Out of genuine curiosity, which LPS do you prefer over Uptone?
While a popular company, I’ve not seen any rabid Uptone apologists on this forum, so fire away!

@dancingsea - Sbooster w/ Ultra, then Farad Super3
The use of the Dectet after the P5 makes no sense to me. If he needed additional outlets, maybe, but even then adding a filter device after a regenerator seems ill advised. Based on the number of appliances connected, the 8 outlets on the P5 should suffice.
I actually like some of his design choices with the SoTM products, which I have experience with. Their external (or internal), dedicated superclock boards are highly regarded and make sense in this implementation. I have not used their CAT 7 cables but I have no reason to believe they are not of high quality. I also like to two dedicated LPS power supplies going into his Roon server, one for the Femto JCAT NET (great card BTW) and the other for the server board.
Also, the idea of running a master clock to feed the switch and the SoTM tx-USBultra (attached to the NUC) is something I can get behind. It is clear he “gets it” from a global perspective and certainly the choice of accoutrements can be analyzed but based on his system topology, he is well above average in my opinion.
I’m with @cardri on the LPS. I have owned an Uptone 1.2. I would purchase an SBooster or Farad before that Uptone. But, that is not to say it is not an outstanding LPS. But from my experience, there are better. He can definitely improve by going i2S into the DS DAC, but that SoTM tx-USB Ultra is significantly improving the USB signal so the improvement will be there, but likely not as dramatic as some others have experienced with the Matrix. Lastly, I haven’t used the SoTM switch but I would put my money on the AQVOX-SE, just because I have one and it is fantastic!
What the heck is an “Energizing supply?”.
@JeffofArabica - thanks for the SOtM input. Never used their products, have heard good things. I chose the AQVOX-SE over their switch, same reason as you did… thanks for the input on the server… clueless and new at the game… this is so cool, right away you can look at choices and some great, some suspect… in the end, the dude is happy kicking it with a beer… and we are better for some ideas… that are very well spelled out and not vague that take a long time back and forth discussing…
There is a lot of buzz surrounding these beeswax fuses @bootzilla
I have several of the Audio Magic Ultimate Beeswax SHD fuses and don’t regret the $225 each I paid for them.
But in the end, the decision as to which brand of fuse to purchase over the other, is never just black and yellow.
@JeffofArabica - or SR BLUE… had to add that…
For sure! The top two in my opinion.
I meant the black & blue it hurts…
I wonder if the beeswax is organic?
@RonP - I was just waiting for you… saw you over in the bushes… we have to go drinking cause you are saying what I’m thinking and still trying to hold a straight face…
I just finished replacing all the fuses in my 911. Easy 50 hp for sure.
@RonP - did you get the directionality right cause it’s 10HP more if you get it right…
Easy to know because everything in the car runs backwards if they’re wrong.
so you get your dog and beer back…
Actually, I use the Blues and I went from a real skeptic to a fan.
F%^@ no!!! That organic S*!# doesnt work worth the damn. Gotta be full of pesticides, herbicides and whatever other deadly man-made substances we can get into it. Real honey, man.
I ain’t drinking tea at your house fer sher.
So with that boost, your are up to 210HP
at idle. fer sher.
I predict somebody’s going to yell at us…
