Hi, @jamesh previously said the plan was to release the server and the MkII dac at the same time, which would have been great for the reasons you point out! I’m hoping that still holds, but it looks like the server isn’t at the same point as the MkII Directstream.

I’m not sure what the team has tested with it so far. I know just a few months ago we were getting music out of it via I2S so I’m sure it’s way too early for them to be doing any listening tests with cables.
