Her name must have been a nuisance when filling out forms.

Probably not for her, though she may have hired someone to do such mundane tasks for her. I wonder if she always had to put “Countess” in front.

The “box” on the form is never long enough.

Perhaps like me she had learned to write really small (in my case after a career in state government and multitudes of forms).
