But all he needs is a plain streamer so Strata not appropriate for his situation unless he wants to start over from scratch.
Or use the apple TV for now and wait for Stellar Streamer? This could drag on for a year though…
For somebody new to this type of gear a new product is not the best choice. Better to stick with tried and true solutions as a starting point. That’s kind of like when streaming “newbies” come on this site and others looking for simple streaming first time solutions and the same group starts in with the Roon recommendations along with all the parts and pieces needed to make it work. You don’t need all that crap to just stream Tidal or Qobuz.
