Speakers: spikes vs ball bearings

Appreciated, it’s just more hastle. I got a better price for the Puck-76 online, Ordered 9pm Sunday evening and they arrived 9am the next morning. Installed by 9:15am. Happy customer by 9:20am.

I told the Isoacoustics customer services guy that if I purchased the Gaia I’d have to wrap them in black electrical tape. He covered up his horror with a laugh.

These larger pucks are height adjustable, not an issue as my floors are flat. You just have to point the logo forward or backwards. The latter for me.

So is the Puck-76 different from what’s sold as simply “Iso-Pucks”?
They look absolutely identical, but I guess they are different? I only see the price difference in different countries and I guess it is significant enough to conclude they’re a different product.

How about a combination of spikes with footers containing ball bearings? Audio Bastion’s X-PAD REF:

Their Titan Silencer product looks pretty good too.
