I couldn’t agree more. I asked to MPI (Italian distributor of PS Audio brand) to help me in this case and let my discomfort less hard if possible. Awaiting their answer.
During last 2 years I bought an entire PS Audio system: 2 P12s, 2 M1200s, SACD Transport, DS DAC, BHK Preamp (trouble with an internal board) and Stellar Phono (now 2 times in trouble).
Hope the dealer will help me and also with @jamesh and PS Audio support. They would email MPI to suggest a solution or to give me a unit.
I love this brand, their products and @Paul’s philosophy.
So if we all work in the right direction I think problem will be solved and my satisfaction will continue to stay high.
Thank you Steven, maybe someone from PS Audio staff can give him a call to suggest how to proceed… @jamesh?
MPI dealer told me they usually do not have back from PS Audio units if they give new ones for substitute, at the end it means the matter is at their expense.
Anyhow my friends, I can tell you again, there are other problems at the moment in our life, so all PS Audio and MPI can do for help me will be very appreciate, otherwise I accept to be patient in respect of professional and trusted people and brand. How long?
Hi Luca, what they are able to offer is completely out of my hands. I can reach out to Travis who works with our Int. distro network but I am unable to help in this situation. MPI and their support team will be working with Travis to give you the best service possible.
Thank you @jamesh and Travis, the italian dealer emailed me today with a solution for a loan unit in order to let me play music during repair time. One more time PS Audio approach is different! I appreciate it so much and would like to thank you all.
Thank you @jamesh today my SPP has been delivered to MPI laboratory for repair. As soon as they fix the issue, hope soon, I’ll report here also to let all members know which would be the problem.
Meanwhile I just started a new thread about balanced connection input from TT to SPP, not as a new post here because I think it’s a different argument. If not sorry.
MPI emailed me today with some news. They changed the main board to fix the right channel noise issue. I can’t wait to receive it back and see (hear) what is the final result.
Finally my SPP is back! I’m anxious to use it again. First impression is good, the noise is reduced on the right channel even if still slightly audible but now very similar to left channel. Can I live with it? Surely I can’t live without the SPP (not literally of course).
Enjoying music is my aim for a few weeks now. Happy with simple things.
I would like to thank MPI and @jamesh and Travis once again.
