Life saver! It turns out I am nearby to VAS, so I just went there. This is the coolest place ever!!! I would have stayed there all day just looking around.
Not only can they fix my cartridge, they can pimp it out with an upgraded stylus!

Great thread, all. Very helpful! I got my repaired and upgraded cartridge back from VAS and it was a huge step up. It picks up so much more sound, so much more musical, punchy bass, and clearly defined high end (and louder).
I also got my Rega Aura today and it also is another huge step up also! So much more detail, lower extension, definition, and clarity.
I have more of a reason to flesh out my record collection now (a responsibility really)!

@csr78 Great news! I upgraded to a P10+Aura+Aphelion 2 in the past year. It surpassed my expectations and I can confidently say, “I’m done.” Wait… what is this NAIA thingamajig I’ve been hearing about???

NAIA is the latest upcoming turntable for the common man, based on the Naiad. Supposedly a release is due by year’s end. I’d give it 6 months once it hits the street to let the dust settle.
