Masterpiece!
May have to play this whole thing later tonight. Sooo freakin groovy. He was losing his mind but we benefited from this brilliant achievement.
Bought this many moons ago in Colonial Williamsburg, VA while vacationing with my then wife, her mother and my daughter. Pretty sure it was July/August and although hot as hell we had such a good time we returned a few years later. I still remember the Brunswick Stew I ate at one of their restaurants where they served period food. Hearty, tasty, and oh-so filling but they should have provided a defibrillator as a side dish.
I’ve followed some of the debate about hires, meh, on the debate. One thing I know, this at 24/192 is glorious.
Big fan of this record. Great sounding too.
I’ve seen him live in Austin and he did the National Anthem at a White Sox game. It was sort of sad. Set up a table to sell CDs and a signature after the anthem. Three people were in line and two of them were me and my oldest daughter. He was nice enough in the odd situation. I did buy a CD and had it signed. I like to buy CDs direct from musicians anyway.
Interesting that two guitarists, albeit of different styles, chose Gravity to entitle one of their albums.
