There is something I love about those Living Stereo records… and I’m not talking about recording quality or physical quality… its the esthetic of them. Reminds me of my Dad listening through his big old Advents

Beaver Creek. I have a friend with a big house out there. A group of guys on a trip my brother sets up every year. We drink and eat as much as we ski!

Vinyl or digital, my CD version is less tolerable. Testament vinyl is on the way in. A wonderful performance by all means. It had always been on the back of my mind to secure a copy true to the performance. Hopefully the Testament reissue won’t disappoint.

I’m a fan as well, and I do enjoy the sound for the most part. I even picked up Jonathan Valin’s Living Stereo: The RCA Bible.

Great choice. Brek and Vail are over-hyped IMHO. Much too crowded.
