Hat tip to @chrisj1948 for posting this earlier, had to wait til now to listen to it and enjoyed it quite a bit. Amazing range of tones from the 7 String instrument. Nice recording as well.

Weird to reply to myself but when I went to buy the download on Qobuz the 24/96 file was $31.79 and the 24/192 file was $18.39. While I am glad to get the resolution I wanted for $13.40 less, I am wondering what’s up with that?

Had some alone time and put this on. Always brings me back to The American Indian Center in San Francisco 1980 where I saw them for the first time. They only had this album out so they played the whole thing and some stuff that later came out or never did. One thing is there was a song called Police Truck that is on my original copy and a cassette someone gave me from that era but is not on more recent releases or on Qobuz. I am sure there is a story behind that and I may have heard it but can’t remember it now.

Police Truck was the B-side to the Holiday in Cambodia 7"

Is that where I had it? Maybe my chemo brain is forming memories and the record is back home in Cayman so I can look at it. It’s a really great song and I thought for sure it was on the record.

I’d suggest time might be the bigger issue  I used to have that single… and have absolutely no idea what happened to it.
