Qobuz. CD. I read an article about ‘Great Musicians You’ve Never Heard Of’. One of them was the frail session pianist Nicky Hopkins. They were right. I had never heard of him, even though we both lived in the same tiny suburb of Perivale at one time. His discography reads like a greatest hits list from the 60s onwards. This is one of the few albums where his name appears in large print. It is a short boogie jam session. Not my sort of music, but he seems to be a player of admirable scope and restraint.

I have posted the LP ‘Jamming with Edward’ a few times in here. That said, quite a rare album to find…!
