LPs? Nice and clean with no warps hopefully. I’ve the CD box, yet to crack it open. Many diversions these days. Streamed bits and pieces, based on an initial sampling it is an easy recommendation.

Easy on the ears.

Yes LPs.
On the downside, on one of the LPs they sounded comically tired or high.
Vinyl are all flat and acceptably quiet. They do come in cheap, paper sleeves however.
All considered, your MD collection is incomplete without this box set in my opinion.

Agree, clearly needs to be in my collection. CDs for now, maybe vinyl in the future. Storage has become an issue for either format.

I hate when big, expensive box sets have paper sleeves (non-box sets too for that matter) - seems an insult to the folks doing the hard work to make sure they all sound good otherwise

I know. It seems a ridiculous place to save a few pennies.

They get ultrasonically cleaned before initial play and then a new rice paper sleeve, so the inner sleeves provided end up in the dust bin. The current Tone Poet inner sleeves are nothing special, (a step up from paper) IME. I’ve been using Mofi, Analog Productions, and Diskeeper inner sleeves, preferring the latter lately.
