Thanks Joe. She was a character, not a normal dog, has been blind and deaf more than six months. . . it’s going to take getting used to her not being underfoot all the time. But we’re going to be okay–we had time to acclimate to the idea.

A great loss, exceeded by a greater life and companionship.

The Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed

This is the 1998 Speakers Corner, this is an album I’ve struggled to find a copy meeting my expectations, but this hits the spot.

Actually she was MY girl, for nine years she just snubbed my wife, snarled at her, stole a steak off her plate, stole a turkey sub. . . she was a rascal. Selfish, stubborn, naughty. We got her that way, probably about six years old when we “rescued” her–she had been in a “puppy mill.” None-the-less she was our child.

We’ve got a Golden and a Labrador, they are part of the family. It’s great to play with them in the garden or in a park and so nice when the cuddle with you. I can imagine how much you’re missing her.

Yes I miss her already, and my wife has been weepy all day. We’ve been through this before, we’ll be alright. We are already laughing at what a character she was!

Right now more comfort music.
