Fischersund - Sounds Of Summer 2024
This is by Jónsi from Sigur Rós, from his family run shop in Reykjavík, he produces all the music that’s played in the shop. Occasionally they put out a 7" of some tracks, very occasionally a full LP like this one. You can only get them in Iceland, they’re not distributed abroad. I’m such a Sigur Rós fan, and it’s so nice hearing Jónsi’s self expression outside of the band.
You could compare it to Jamie XX (from the band XX) solo stuff, it’s more dance centric, really nicely done and superbly produced.
I’ve just had 3 new ones imported.
