Haven’t spun this one in a while, a compilation gathering some tracks that were released on compilation albums and a few unreleased remixes.

Terry, there are a few events happening today. The University of St Andrews is holding a Graduating Thanksgiving Service in St Salvator’s Chapel. Additionally, the university’s “Grad Week” celebrations continue with some of them at the Old Course Hotel.

Just got back home. My car was wrecked this morning when a deer run into the drivers side. Air bags deployed - I escaped unharmed with only a small cut to my right hand - the poor thing wasn’t so lucky!! This is the third car badly damaged by a deer in the last five years.. ( I should buy one of those ARV vehicles the US SWAT teams use! ) I will have to contact the insurance and they will want me to fill in forms and draw out how the scene unfolded, etc. If I get a ‘human’ to speak to on the phone I will be happy - but if it is press 2 for this then press 5 for something else, etc. I will crack up!!

Thanks, Joe.

Crikey! I’m sorry to hear that.
I’m glad that you weren’t too badly injured.
I hope that the insurance company deals with it promptly, and professionally, with a ‘human’

I remember not long ago with the last deer slaying your vehicle was involved in.

Thanks. Well, so far so good :+1:. Human interaction. My wife offered to contact the insurance company because, in her own words, I can be a tad brusque when asked daft questions. :slightly_smiling_face:

You’re spot-on, only two years ago! It’s one of the drawbacks of living in the countryside.. I have not long finished writing to Ward 18, St Andrews Councillors. How there should be large signs along the road warning motorists and cyclists about the dangers of deer :deer: crossing the road.

Dirk, so sorry to hear. And hope you are alright.

This brings back bad memories of our most recent altercation with a deer, but at 70 miles per hour on the interstate. Totaled the car, and it was just barely driveable so we were able to limp home. Needless to say, the deer didn’t make it, but fortunately neither my wife nor I were hurt. Not a fun experience at any speed.

Thank you. Yes, not a fun experience. No injuries as such. The noise of the deer ploughing into the car and the airbags deploying at the same time is frightening. I was pushed over onto the passengers seat, and I was able to escape via the passenger side. The last time I was struck by a deer it completely destroyed the car. There is some amount of weight in a large deer (maybe 300lbs or more) ramming head-on
it’s scary schitt.!
