Global Underground - Guy J in Cordoba
Might just be worth picking up a copy at my local record shop. Thx.
Among others I have this UK/MGM 1978 press which has been my Velvet go to LP.

Re-listening to the RSD/BF-25 LP Rahsaan Roland Kirk Seek & Listen Live at the Penthouse, in general a fun listen. I do have one reservation considering the recording and was looking others experience with the vinyl. Specifically the C-side first track Ode to Billie Joe has what sounds like significant tape flutter and drop-outs. At first I thought there was an issue with my turntable and Eagle/Roadrunner speed control. No dice as it locks in at 33.3333 rpm.
Snowing again. Ah well. It is winter in Geauga County Ohio.
Enjoying this new 2 cd release from Resonance of Rahsaan Roland Kirk recorded live at the Penthouse in Seattle, Washington on September 8 & 15, 1967, recorded from radio broadcasts with pianist Rahn Burton, bassist Steve Novosel and drummer Jimmy Hopps.

Looking west from the 2nd big city. The united center is upper right and my house about 18 miles upper left.
There are many O. Redding collections but this one is particularly good with no filler, the sq is good and Steve Cropper is dynamite form the very first opening notes of track 1.
Thanks, I’ll check it out!
The last two snow falls we have totaled just over 18.25”. Thus besting the early snow of the winter of ’78 where it totaled 17.1”. My snow removal service quit and returned to Mexico for the winter, ha! As I became dependent on them I sold my Honda 26” 6 hp track drive snow blower, so I hand dig. It is a good work-out and I don’t mind the cold weather and snow in general. I do think Tony has the right idea, being in sunny Florida.
I am a big Eric Burdon fan. I played that CD last week. Great stuff!
