Which Amp for Magnepan LRS+?

The choice of preamp also affects the final sound quality you get with the M1200’s. I have 3 preamps, a full solid state, a hybrid tube/ss, and a full tube preamp. The sound is quite different with each of the different preamps. I have a clean, open, magical sound with a ss preamp connected to my M1200’s, and suspect the NAD/M1200 would be a killer combo with the LRS+.

I like Jeff Rowland with my 20.7s

I would love to hear them. I’m looking at LRS+ and 1.7… Not sure I need to go 2.7 or any higher. I also have dual subs…

I heard the LRS+ at Axpona 2 years ago and was completely impressed at how good they sounded. I heard the 1.7i and 3.7i last year and was not happy with their choice of amps or music.

This Sanders Sound Systems Magtech amp for sale on Audiogon will drive any speaker you can imagine. I have two driving Sanders 10e hybrid ‘stats and can’t imagine a more musical amp with loads of power and stable into 1 ohm.

My Maggie 1.7i’s with my dual subs are SWEET with my M1200’s!!!
