Can we smash that crossover yet?

[image] adifferentpaul: The forum members that encouraged me to move away from the infinity sub also deserve a raise. Wait to see the kind of bonus the people encouraging you to buy two subs deserve!

Btw. I got email announcing another 10% increase from Rel in September. FYI.

has anyone got an update on when the new model hits the market, i head heard this year but its all very quiet ..

The rumor is there would be news in September

So now my friend wanted to get a new preamp to repace his aging Conrad Johnson Gat because he wanted to try balance inputs. I suggested a PS Audio PMG Preamp from all the rave in this forum on it. 30 days free trial I told him. Well, he went and bought one! Long story short, he was so impressed with the performance of the PMG Pre that he has already put his Conrad Johnson up for sale. The PMG is much quieter and even fuller sounding than the much more expensive tubed CJ, amazing, even with patch cord level XLR’s. Yes, he’s working on some higher quality XLR’s. I can hardly wait untill I can hear his system with the PMG when it is broken in and with some decent XLR cables. Here’s a picture of his new PMG Pre. [IMG_6409]

Thanks for sharing this. The PMG Signature pre is systematically replacing preamps around the world and setting a new standard for noise and effortless music. Once you get a taste of what it can do…it’s hard to go back to what was once SOTA.

Thanks, Elk. That front machined swoosh still gets me with its beauty. Created by Miles at Studio 63 in Canada. Brilliant designer.
