@rkindel that inflatable reminds me of a whoopie cushion, lol

+1 on the inflatable wedges. I have three different sizes I got on Amazon. One or two will easily lift an 80 lb speaker or even a rack…

I needed the inflatable wedges two years ago when I set up FR30. Now I am done with footers too!

Day six of having the BACCH-SP adio in my system. A ā€œStereo Purifierā€ indeed. It’s the best upgrade I have ever made to my system, hands down. The clarity it brings to the presentation is like nothing I’ve ever experienced, making it easy to listen for hours without fatigue (all too easy–I’ve been listening nightly into the wee hours every day since it arrived). The DAC, whatever it is, is superb as well…

@rkindel I got these at Amazon about 4 years ago. I see that they are unavailable now. However, I am sure there are other comparable products out there. An amazing tool for placing footers!

Curious what that gadget on the small tripod is!

@Sohail That’s the head-tracking camera which adjusts the soundstage to your head position so you don’t have to keep your head stock still…

For those using Stack Audio AUVA isolators under components — do you place them under the original feet, or do you remove the stock feet and sit the unit directly on the AUVAs? Their website does say that they were designed for being in contact with the chassis!

@Sohail If the component feet don’t have any kind of squishy compliance, you can put the AUVAs under the stock feet, which can be good in especially in cases where the manufacturer located their footers asymmetrically. Otherwise the Stack footers should be located as close to the stock feet as possible…

I’ve done mine are under the feet on my PZ, Diablo 300, and Ethos. Direct to Chasis on MU1.

I am still done with upgrades.

It makes me sad.

I thought I was done. I was not. I ordered a Linn Keel SE sub-chassis for my LP-12.

I thought I was done too, but my recent upgrade (Decware Dynagrid Jr.) has me obsessed with the sound again and tweaking and tube-rolling happily along.

Other than some tube rolling in the recently added Freya+ and possibly adding a P3 to the foundation, I’m going the route of upping the headphone game.

In lieu of the inflatables, I have used this tool with great success with FR20 feet and many household tasks. If you use it with speakers, remember it is metal so turn your amps off when using it near the terminals.

What’s the distance of the camera to your head and at what lighting conditions do you use it while listening, please?

Background: Edgar installed the B4M last week. Given the camera is at a distance of 3 meters and with my room conditions (low ambient light and a reflective white back wall making my face obscure), this resulted in inadequate functional tracking.
I’m trying to find out what conditions might work (I’m currently on a holiday break and I hope to pick up tinkering next week).

I have one of these, too, and it’s been ridiculously useful for several random tasks, from putting carpet guards under the feet of my home theater console to, most recently, quickly leveling and adjusting the feet of a new washing machine. Highly recommended.
