Your Next Upgrade? (Part 2)

Does it work well with a P20? Lol

Not my next upgrade but if I win a Powerball prize I could see these with a pair of Stereo Gryphon Apex’s!

If I rate my upgrades first to last, PowerZone is first. Power Cables way down the list.
Fuses last and least.

Yup, the vagaries of the market don’t help on the search for the Holy Grail. Must…stand…firm. :grimacing:

Analog interconnects ( of a certain brand) got to up there somewhere too.

Number two surprisingly! Maybe they allow number one to be number one?

Are you sad that you follow?

Cables that get out of the way, a friend of mine on the West Coast refers to them as ā€œself-effacing,ā€ do precisely that. They allow you to faithfully hear your system and do not impede the enjoyment of the music.

I don’t consider myself a blind disciple, but once something is in my system and makes it (much) better, I don’t want it to leave. Simple as that. I’ve been fortunate to have had your ā€œmust haveā€ loaners. I resisted in the past, but these beauties and their siren song have captured my heart. Love is blind. Only my wallet is suffering.

Well said. There are so many audiophile adjectives that measure this-and-that. But, when you don’t think about what you may, or may not, be hearing, but rather become immersed in the music, nothing else matters.

Patience may pay off as far as acquiring a PowerZone. Once the dust settles availability may improve. Doubtful that pricing will relax.

Reading about what you speak of regarding PZ and experiencing Sakra V17 (thanks to you) The PZ is the biggest upgrade compared to Sakra. The Sakra’s have reshaped my entire music collection. You hear something new that you never heard in music that was recorded decades ago and it’s a revelation when you notice something on a track you never heard after listening to music several hundred times. Amazing! That’s what the Sakra delivers and when you call the PZ better than Sakra that is the highest praise!

Couldn’t agree more!

As for PZ I immensely trust in Al’s ability to drive my audiophile journey. It’s just a matter of time to collect the needed funds.

Putting L & R channels in seperate boxes was inevitable. Interestingly they now have a streamer, no idea what that means. Also no CD player which is a bit of a surprise. Maybe that will come next.

Guesses put the stack at around $220K USD.
