In the back section of this month’s Stereophile, Robert Deutsch does sort of a mini review of the DS and PWT while he was waiting for his Ayre CX-7e to get fixed. Another rave review (although a little like shooting fish in a barrel since he was comparing it to the ancient CX-7e), but I was hoping it would be accompanied by some updated measurements from JA since Robert had time to listen to the DS with FW 1.2.1.
There was a comment by JA in the “Manufacturers Comments” section that he would provide measurements next month.
I should add that I liked his comments on the PW (as he called it, actually PWT). The PWT hasn’t gotten any press in a while, and it was good to see a comparison of the PWT to a good CD player as a transport.
