Hi there,
been getting a hum in one monoblock. At first I was being lazy thinking it may be a cable issue. All balanced connections.
Eventually got down to it and switched. All cables etc and the hum stayed with the right monoblock.
I have recently replaced he input tubes hoping that would eliminate it but it remains.
What else can I troubleshoot ?

Did you change tubes?
Yes I did. It’s still there.
I have narrowed it down to the particular monoblock.
These are just so cumbersome to send to the dealer who is in a different city.
Any other steps I can take to narrow it down further?

Perhaps try to record that hum and then to get an engineer on the phone at PSA to identify and discuss?
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I had to send one of my 300s to be repaired, it had the same symptom as yours, the good news is it was a very cheap part that was replaced, the main cost was the labour and freight, good luck!
Thanks! Yes will do. I am recoding it and sending to my dealer. Unfortunately in Pakistan the availability of parts is scarce, especially of older products. But he’s a good guy and will eventually take care of it.
Thank god the system is still running fine.
