Hi all,
I’m late to the party regarding this task. Is there a tool that will perform the conversion in batches on a Win 11 PC?
Thanks,
George
What you’re looking for is a lossy to lossy transcode, which will further degrade your files. I’d recommend sourcing your files in a lossless format (FLAC, WAV, ALAC), then transcoding to mp3. for actually performing transcodes, dBpoweramp is your friend.
Thank you for the reply. I have an existing library, decades old, of iTunes files. Any new iTunes downloads are fine. I’m getting an innuous zenith mk3 streamer/ server and need to port the library so the Sense app will play them.
If you have access to an old version of iTunes, it can do this in batches. I don’t know if Toast is still around but I believe Toast used to be able to do this too
no access to old iTunes. Toast! Now there’s a blast from the past. Thx
