Stack Audio have just released a Lan Regenerator?

Received info about the brand new product that Stack Audio are releasing for the Network.
Looks to be a Regenerator, similar to PS Audio’s power regenerators, but for the Lan signal?

Their footers and speaker feet are generally well received on the forum.

Will be interesting to see how it reviews?

Looks like their version of an EtherRegen.

Right. The Regenerator model designation is misleading.

Waiting for the first review.

It seems to have 100 Mb/s bandwidth available.

Innuos (I owned the PhoenixNET) prefers 100 Mb/s too.

Other manufacturers like Network Acoustics (that I’m using currently) generally consider 1Gb/s a better solution.

Correct, Stack claims better noise rejection with 100 Mb/s. In either case, your router will adapt.

I don’t know much about network audio, switches etc.
I’m content to use mine for video streaming, so not ultra high standard required.
How does the Stack Audio model compare pricewise to the EtherRegen?

Wonder how this unit stacks up (pun) against the Muon Pro. They both are Ethernet filters but the Stack has a clock and dedicated power supply.
I think I will drop a line to Josh.

Just ordered one to try out. Not sure how long it will take to receive it. Currently just going from router to Aurender n200 via Pink Faun cable.

Josh of Stack Audio is very excited about this SmoothLan Regenerator, and he said there will be some reviews coming out soon. I have one coming next week to try.

I already have a Muon Pro System plus a Shunyata Omega ethernet cable, and I will replace Muon with the Stack to compare them first. More importantly, can it enhance the streaming system more if I put them in series. Since it can only handle 100mb, I will put it in front of the streamer as recommended.

I’ve ordered the Stack LN as well. Curiosity and I like the build quality. I don’t know whether it is compatible with Muon Pro in series. I have to check into that.

If it has only 10/100 PORTS it will not work with the MUON Pro. The MUON PRO Requires Gigabit Ethernet PORTS, not speed, Gigabit Ethernet PORTS have more conductors used and that is the requirement. Just so you know. The MUON Pro will pass data, it just will not clean nearly as effectively.

If the Tempus switch was $1500 they’d be flying of the shelves! A new ether regen comes out in a stainless steel case under $1k and everyone is all in! Lol

A mutual friend has a MUON Pro, no cable for sale. Ima buy it for my BACCH-SP.

Thanks

I should have mine Monday. I have nothing to compare it to but Josh said I’m really going to like the results.

Mine supposedly be here on Monday too, but it is shipped through FedEx so I could be lied to by them since it happened so often. I hope I will not get a duty fee letter later (happened with FedEx twice before).

Heard the Network Acoustics ENO2 filter is already outperforming the new regenerator. Also Hans B. is having a review about it.

Mine is also FedEx. I’ve never been charged anything extra before.
