Dutch & Dutch 8c’s?

Yes, it tops out at 48K. You can see the rolloff on my measurements at 24Khz. He has given a good reason for this. I need to find the link.

Thanks, yes he did say he and D&D prefer it that way. Cheers.

A member in this topic was using D&D, sold them them and is now using the BHK pre and BHK 300s. Check Baldy’s post! You may want to hear his views!

I should hope so. In the UK the D&D 8c cost £10,950, whereas the BHK 300 alone cost £15,750 and the BHK Pre £6,300. So with PS Audio you are at exactly double the price of the D&D 8c and you still need a streamer, DAC, speakers and a load of cables. With a DSD DAC at £4,830 and a pair of Harbeth at £5,000, plus the other bits, you are looking at almost 3 to 4 times the price.

All that proves is how good value the D&D 8c are.

Steve,
I was not advising anybody to do any transactions. I was only recommending hearing from a former owner of the D&D 8C before our mate jhsg offloads his speakers + BHK250 and/or his BHK pre + DSD. Nothing to lose!
