I’m not refuting either just wanted those that may be interested in galvanic isolation that you very well may not be getting it with these cables as I bet the power carrying conductors use the USB-C outer conductive shell as part of the path.

The picture in the ad shows many metallic conductors in addition to the fiber.

Yes, like the Corning USB 3.Optical cable, the other non-data signals are electrical. But without an active electric USB data signal right next to the power, ground and control wires the power and ground are much quieter.
