‘Half space’ speaker specification?

I noticed that the specs for the Aspen FR-20 include the following:

23Hz-20kHz (-6dB) half space, 20 Hz (-6dB) in-room

I understand the in-room bit, but I do not know what “half space” refers to in speaker measurements. Can someone clarify?

If I recall correctly, full-space is no reflective surfaces. Half-space is one reflective surface.
